WELCOME TO THE HIVE!

Established in 2008, the Darien Athletic Association offers children ages 5 and up opportunities to play team sports in a developmental yet competitive environment.  As a feeder program for Hinsdale South High School, DAA offers sports through the following programs:

Darien Swarm - Junior Football

The Swarm is Darien’s only Pop Warner sanctioned football league.  Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. (PWLS) is a non-profit organization that provides youth football and cheer and dance programs for participants in 41 states and several countries around the world. Consisting of approximately 360,000 young people ranging from ages 5 to 16 years old, PWLS is the largest youth football, cheer and dance program in the United States.   Spots are still open on teams for the fall 2008 season in Darien.

Darien Swarm Futbol Club

Swarm FC is a NISL (Northern Illinois Soccer League) member providing 9-14 year old boys and girls an opportunity to play and develop their skills in soccer while participating in a travel league.  All games and practices are held at Hinsdale South High School.  Swarm FC has a two-season year with ten games each fall and ten games each spring.  All player training and coaching is provided by Swarm F.C. and Hinsdale South staff.

Darien Swarm Basketball

Coming in September of 2008…..the only travel basketball league available in Darien for BOTH boys and girls.  More information on tryouts will be listed on the Swarm website in August.
